Preparation for your mortgage application
How do I prepare for the application process?The following is a checklist of materials that you should have ready when preparing for the loan application process:
- Paystubs for the most recent 30 days for each borrower
- Past two years W-2's (1040's will be required if self employed or commissioned)
- Bank statements covering the past three months for all accounts to be used for downpayment, closing costs or reserves (all large deposits must be explained)
- Copy of signed agreement of sale with all addendums (for purchase transactions)
- Copy of cancelled check for any escrow/downpayment money.
- Copy of deed (for refinance transactions)
